Xbox 360 sales edge up in Japan

Sales for Microsoft Corp.'s
edged up in the latest retail data from Japan.
Media Create Co. on Fri. reported that the Xbox 360 sold 9,833 between Feb. 2 and Feb. 8.
By comparison, the 360 sold 8,311 units the week prior.
The Xbox 360 ranked one title in the top 10 games, Capcom Co.'s
at No. 5.
Microsoft in Jan. said that Xbox 360 sales have reached 28 million units worldwide.
Also, the
online service now holds 17 million members globally.

Resistance 2 beats Halo 3, Xbox 360 wins Sony PS3 in Japan

IGN: 360 Not So Big in Japan

Microsoft 's Xbox consoles have never done well in Japan, and 2008 was no exception. fell below 8,000 units in the latest Japan retail data.
Media Create Co. on Fri. reported that the Xbox 360 sold 7,663 units between Jan. 19 and Jan. 25.
By comparison, it sold 9,576 units the week prior.

The Star Ocean 4 bundle will be called Xbox 360 Arcade Star Ocean 4 Premium Pack. Xbox 360 beats PS3 in six-week streak in Japan

Microsoft Corp.'s
beat Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 for the sixth consecutive week in the latest Japan hardware sales charts.
Media Create Co. on Fri. reported that the Xbox 360 sold 7,856 units between Oct. 13 to Oct. 19. to rank as the No. 4 console for the week.
By comparison, the
